What is an MQL and SQL?

When it comes to the full growth wheel there is some terminology you need to know, and we're here to help!

  1. Subscriber is someone who has subscribed to your database and has voluntary opted in.
  2. A lead is someone that has shown interested in your TOF (top of funnel content) and has consumed some content.
  3. MQL is someone that has downloaded or watched a piece of content and that is showing interest in your MOF (middle of funnel assets).
  4. An SQL is someone that has raised their hand for help or shown forms of buying triggers such as asking a question through a form, and are ready for a direct follow up
    1. Opportunity contacts who are real sales opportunities
    2. Customer is someone that has purchased a product or service off you over the past x months
  5. An Evangelist is a customer who advocates for your business, has a NPS (net promoter score) of 9-10, and has referred you work.
